Dusty Rhodes, born October 12, 1945, was an American WWE wrestler. Dusty’s career began in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. He joined the National Wrestling Alliance territories in 1974 through 1984. By the midway point of the 80s, he spent time with Jimmy Crocket promotions before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1989.
Dusty was a decorated wrestler, winning a number of titles throughout his career. After retiring in 2010, he continued to commentate on matches and spend time with his family. He was married twice and had four children. Dusty sadly passed away of kidney failure at the age of 69 in June 2015. He was greatly mourned by family and friends.
